Who is BLUE?

I’m BLUE!

The Founder of Think BLUE LLC and lead trainer for both 3B (Basketball By Blue) and True BLUE (Better Living Utilizing Exercise).

Well, my first name is actually Eliseo. I was given the nickname Blue by my youth basketball coach, Shawn Monroe, as a member of his small fry team based at Marquette Park in Chicago. It was my first practice with the team and Coach Shawn had us huddled up as we introduced ourselves. When he asked for my name I said,”Eliseo.” He attempted twice to say it and just couldn’t get the correct pronunciation. I had a blue shirt on and he asked if he can call me Blue; I replied,”Yes.” The name has been with me every since and is now legally my middle name.

I was born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago and blessed to have had the opportunities to play at both the collegiate (IIT – Illinois Institute of Technology) and professional levels (LNBP – Mexico; IBA – USA). As a college graduate, Certified Personal Trainer (NASM) and former player, I incorporate all my knowledge, experience and abilities to help each individual grow in all areas of life.
